Great food . Great service. Cosy ambiance. Wonderful atmosphere for family dining as well.

The reviews for this place confuse me. We love this place and even had my wife's birthday dinner here. Fast service, good food, nice traditional Italian restaurant vibes. Seems family run, everyone is super friendly. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but it's hands down my favorite pizza in town: large extra cheese and extra pepperonis is my comfort food.

Pizza and pastas are good here. The owners are charming and really hustle. It's in a strip mall but the location has plenty of parking and that experience complements the unpretentious menu. I come back here again and again because the food is great.

It is a small place with great, unpretentious Italian food. The service was excellent - attentive but not pushy.

This wonderful little Italian joint has become our go-to for Italian food lately. Large portions, quality ingredients, ample gathering space, and great service. It isn't always the fastest choice but it is a great place to gather and celebrate life and our special occasions! It's also a great place to swing by on a quiet Tuesday night and have one of their specials! Calzones, pasta, pizza, and so much more! Make sure you stop by for dinner... you just might find a new family favorite!

Another wonderful meal! Tried the huge pizza... thick crust, lots of toppings. Half and half chicken carbonara and Giovanni special. Yum yum! So much food and couldn't even finish 1/3 of the deliciousness!

Randomly stumbled upon this place when we were looking for Italian restaurants in the area. They quoted us a 20-25 min wait on a Saturday night, but we probably waited no more than 10 minutes before they seated us at a booth. I ordered the fettuccine al pesto and it came with a side salad and garlic bread. I upgraded to cheese garlic bread. If you like cheese - ask for the upgrade because it's worth it! It was about a 40 minute wait for our food once we sat down, but it didn't feel that long because we had side salads to tide us over in the meantime. Service was excellent and they constantly kept my water glass filled. Come hungry because the portions are BIG. If I could eat here again, I'd definitely get the pizza instead. I saw another table order some and it looked delicious. Parking is available in a small lot outside the restaurant. If you don't see any spots open, just wait a minute and someone will leave because I noticed they do A LOT of takeout orders. Last thing is the place smells amazing - tons of garlic in the air.

Giovanni's take-out, it looked like we ordered dinner for a family of six! Portions were generous, we will have leftovers for days. The creamy sauce was smooth and hearty, and the chicken in both the Fettuccine Alfredo and Giovanni's chicken was cooked well and not dry. Read carefully to see if garlic bread comes with the dish. We ordered extra cheesey garlic bread and we got a whole pizza box full! What we ordered: Chicken fettuccine Alfredo with side salad Giovanni's chicken, side spaghetti marinara and side salad Stromboli Cheesy garlic bread Tiramisu Chocolate cake Cannoli Cheesecake

First time visit and very favorable first impressions! Inside was cozy and has that "olde world Italian American vibe" that reminds me of Chicago neighborhoods. A lot of take out traffic, another good sign. We spotted a few pizzas on the tables. Probably too many topping for my taste, we'll check it soon. The wait was not too long, and we slid into a booth near the hostess station. Our food did not disappoint! We started with house salads, and moved on to the mains. I added chicken to the Fettucine, and it was a generous portion. The white sauce was bit rich for me, and I wisely stopped halfway and got a box. There was garlic bread in a basket, too. Wifey had red sauce and the combo Ravioli and Spaghetti, again too much so we boxed some of that, too. Food arrived promptly, and hot, and service was attentive. Fair price for the quality and amount of food. No "full bar" but wine and beer available.
